This stew is tasty and super-easy to prepare. It won’t break the budget, and it comes together quickly and with minimal attention.
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
3 carrots peeled and Sliced
1 large onion chopped
1 15oz can of tomato sauce
1 15oz can of water
3 cups of beef broth
2 tsp of mined garlic
1 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of all purpose seasoning such as McCormick Salt Free Original All-Purpose Seasoning (I used Fred’s Brand Salt Free Garlic and Herb)
2 and 1/2 pound of potatoes (before being peeled)
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef and drain.
2. Add the carrots, onions, tomato sauce, water, beef broth, garlic, pepper, salt, garlic powder and all purpose seasoning. Bring to a Boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cover and continue to simmer stirring occasionally.
3. Peel and dice the potatoes and add to the pot. Cover and continue to simmer and stir occasionally until the potatoes are fork tender.
